Job Description

DTS Content Business Analyst Job DescriptionAn ITS Intermediate Business Analyst (BA) leads and delivers the analysis, design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and support for applications within a specified business process area. Fully competent and productive professional contributor with proven practical experience, working independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May provide work direction / general guidance to other team members.Key Accountabilities

  • Functional leader of small to medium projects for the Digital Content product team. Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity including the product information management (PIM) platform, digital asset management (DAM) platform, and related integrations and APIs with upstream content sources, intra-platform integrations, and downstream syndication consumers of the content.
  • Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to use technology to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing, and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
  • Participates with global business resources to establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the business process.
  • Participates in the evaluation of the factors which must be addressed in the change program.
  • Maintains understanding of both KCP and Consumer business processes for their capability area
  • Contributes to policy formation, User Groups, and strategic direction
  • Leads small to medium Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults with and shares knowledge across org; awareness of industry trends.
Key Interfaces: Business Partner, Solution Architect, Project Manager, Enterprise Architect, Business Client External Interfaces: Consultant & 3rd Party provider Travel expected to be less than 10% of work time.Basic Qualifications and Experiences
  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of Professional experience with a minimum of 2 years of Information Technology experience
  • Experience working within ITS Projects and/or Programs
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a contributing member of product teams using Agile methodology with scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with digital marketing technologies is required, preferably with content and campaign production and distribution. Experience in implementing product information management systems like Stibo Systems STEP or digital asset management systems like Mediabeacon Content Hub is a plus.
  • CPG industry experience preferred but is not required
  • Experience with deploying and driving execution via performance measurement, benchmarking, and related visual management
  • Experience working with different cultures, remote locations, and multiple time zones
  • Strong leadership and service delivery skills
  • Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization
  • Broad range of business and IT experiences
  • (Standard) Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
  • (Standard) Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
