Cisco Next Generation Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) is the flagship product from Security Business Group (SBG). FTD integrates aware-willing ASA Firewall services and world best and well-known IPS engine SNORT in to a high- performance appliance. It is a deeply successful product and continue to lead the market with threat centric focus and market differentiating features. Our team works on leading security and threat mitigation solutions that are top-notch, scalable and easily manageable.At present, FTD team is looking for senior Technical leaders, who are highly experience and motivated individuals. Having innovation mindset and have an ability to drive products from concepts/requirements, execution to customer engagement. Motivate the engineers in team and mentor them to grow. Should be hands-on, experienced with dealing with customer escalations, extensive debugging experience on enterprise class security products.What you will Do

• Work with a team of motivated A-players to engage with customers and build creative solutions
• Provide technical leadership, independently own and design features based on the requirements and own technical decision making.
• Work with developers and product management teams at different stages such as product starting from idea conceptualization till delivering it to customer

• Drive/collaborate with other technical leaders/software engineers on system/functional design and architecture, Develop high quality software independently in an Agile environment
• Architect and Develop challenging portions of software independently and rapidly with a focus on quality in an Agile environment
• Mentor and lead junior developers in both onshore and offshore locations.
• Work closely with a cross functional team to design new features
• Work closely with fellow developers on SW/system architecture
• Review and sign off on requirements documents
• Write specification documents and drive sign-off
• Implement new features and extend existing functionality

Who You Are

• 15-20+ year of experience working on security/networking products.
• Proven leader in security, networking or cloud areas.
• Innovative mind set and has ability to go through ambiguity and identify the problem statement.
• Strong problem solver and experience working with scaled clustered, high availability system.
• Experience working on performance and optimization of data plane
• Highly motivated and self-starter with very high energy.
• Strong Networking and protocol knowledge
• Solid experience in Firewalls and Network Security
• Programming skills in C.c++
• Validated experience in protocol, application security, Firewalls and Network Security
• Experience in
• VPN/IPSEC/TLS,
• NAT/PAT, policy
• Clustering and High availability systems
• Protocol Inspection Engines
• IPS, IDS engines
• Containers, Kubernetes
• Any L2 to L7 protocol
• Classification Engines
• Designing management plane with world class configuration and reporting capabilities
