Job Description

How will you make an impact In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of business objectives. Additionally, this individual maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, a self-starter, a creative thinker, analytical, deadline driven and constantly looking for new opportunities to improve performance and operational efficacy of our email programs. This role requires the ability to handle a number of projects at any one time, as well as being able to respond quickly to our regional and team requests. The Email Execution Specialist will develop a clear understanding of the team s requirements and objectives, be proactive in attitude and supportive to the team at all times.   • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Manage the creation and execution of promotional, lifecycle, and transactional email marketing programs to our customers.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution as required.
  • Collaborate across team and functions (Global and Regional Market Development Managers and members of the broader LSG Digital Marketing team) to support brand and sales goals.
  • Work closely with our internal Agency and design teams to provide recommendations on email content best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications.
  • Offer thoughtful advice and recommendations to our team regarding email tactics and opportunities for contact and email optimization.
  • Provide email execution and management of related activities, can include but not limited to: maintaining email marketing promotional calendar and send schedule, scheduling emails, and managing target customer lists.
  • Adhere to email list hygiene rules to ensure optimal deliverability and avoid black listing of our email database.
  • Understand email technology and all of our different data sources we have access to and how to best use data and technology to deliver incremental growth.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of our email dashboards for all levels of management views (executive, operational, summary), deliver both metrics and insights to help our marketers understand what is working, how to improve what is not working, share learnings and best practices with global and regional teams.
How will you get here EducationBachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related major required.Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience a digital marketing role required.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience setting up, executing, and measuring email campaigns using Unica Campaign required.
  • Experience with marketing automation and segmentation highly desirable.
  • Experience with a major ESP (Email Service Provider) such as Eloqua, Responsys, Exact Target, Cheetahmail, or IBM Silverpop / Acoustic. Experience with Eloqua a big plus.
  • Proficiency working with structured databases and fluency in SQL desired.
  • Email content marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with data privacy policies (GDPR and CCPA) highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large and complex sets of data from multiple sources (transactional, web analytics, and lead generation). Use data and dashboards to inform our team with keen insights on improving email and contact health KPIs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including goal setting, managing team activities, and managing performance.
  • Knowledge of HTML with hands-on experience with HTML editors such as Dreamweaver, Atom, or Sublime.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must have hands-on experience with basic functions like VLOOKUP, TRIM, and Pivot Tables.
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be detail oriented with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Proactive, energetic personality; inquiring, investigative mind
  • Able to act in a highly autonomous capacity and work on the most complex problems with corporate visibility.
