• In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of application and front-end / Back-end engineers to driveinnovation in full-stack product development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability. A strong collaborative mindset to work closely with your peers in Product Management, Design, other Development Leads, Quality Engineering, etc - to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together.

As an Engineering Manager, you manage your business goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team Build strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners; work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve business objectives Foster an environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking; and exhibits resilience in the face of setbacks Drive prioritization of requirements, design discussions & development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to meet the core requirements Proactively identify areas for product enhancements, new features, and updates based on customer requirements/feedback Guide teams on feasibility analysis, coding patterns, languages, and frameworks in line with evolving trends in the industry, and drive scalability and security Select appropriate frameworks, platforms, testing tools, and environments for software development Your greatest responsibility will be looking after the individuals reporting to you, mentoring, coaching, and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel. Perform regular performance evaluations and share and seekfeedback. Collaborate with tech leads & architects and drive requirement analysis, solution design, estimation & planning You work closely with the Product Management, Business Development, and Operations team and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace Ensure all defects, production issues, performance issues & availability bottlenecks are thoroughly analyzed to identify the root cause and corrective measures to avoid the recurrence of such issues are acted upon. Responsible for hiring and skills management for the teams knowledge of metaprogramming in Ruby Experience with web technologies Rails, Java, Phyton, Linux, Elastic search, Redis Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB), and UI/UX designPersonal Skills You care how people feel and actively work to increase their motivation You inspire others to do more than expected You create trust and psychological safety around you Good proven investigative, communication, and interpersonal skills Creatively seeking and suggesting improvements and best solutions Degree from Tier-1 institutes (Preferable)
