Job Description

Essential Job Functions

• Recommends specific product configurations to assist with overall system design and integration.
• Configures, implements, and provides complex product support activities to meet client needs.
• Identifies potential uses for products or technologies; identifies issues and solidifies plans for using them to meet business needs. Assists in preparing requirements, evaluating products, and selecting relevant software such as commercial off the shelf software (COTS).
• Selects, coordinates and implements technical product components, ensuring that the technical solution addresses the business concern. Assists sales and consulting engineering teams in designing and integrating products into customer environments.
• Addresses product requirements, usability, change requests and defines future functionality to end users and stakeholder groups to increase understanding of products.
• Provides insight and advice to customers concerning applicability of specific complex products/technologies.
• Selects technology vendors to meet business needs as appropriate. Consults with, and compares, solutions with other product development managers, vendors, and cross functional technical groups to ensure consistent product solutions.
• Serves as the subject matter expert on product systems, processes, network architecture and interface capabilities.
• Participates in acceptance testing; coordinates product launches into new and existing markets.
• Assists in outlining new product/service business case justification to ensure that the proposed solution is capable of delivering articulated business benefits to the client.
• Performs systems modeling, simulation and analysis to provide appropriate software solutions.
• Designs and develops compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems to meet client business needs.
• Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs to ensure information accessibility, as required.
• Participates in designing, developing, troubleshooting and analyzing software programs that operate with hardware systems.
• Assists in customizing purchased applications and assists in maintaining program libraries and manuals based on research and customer needs.
• Provides feedback and reports to management on the status and availability of software and hardware to ensure proper functioning.
• Works with customer(s) to provide hands-on first level support.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
• Three or more years of experience with technical product configuration, design, and/or integration
• Experience working with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies
• Experience working with product configurations
• Experience working with relevant software packages or classes of packages, and products within area of technical expertise

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Develop, Automate, Release and Support Portal products and solutions
• Working knowledge of User Interface visual design patterns and ability to apply effectively with Customer and Partner solutions
• Experienced with multiple versions of Microsoft ASP.Net Frameworks
• Extensive working knowledge and experience working with Knockout JS, LINQ, WCF, JQuery
• Experience with designing wireframes and demoing prototypes
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Database knowledge of either Microsoft SQL, NOSQL or Oracle
• Experience with DevOps Tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory)
• Experience with at least one cloud offering (AWS, Azure)
• Experience leading or working in a Scrum team or Agile Development global teams
• Knowledge of Cloud architectures including traditional and serverless computing
• Software Development experience in languages such as C++, Java

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of automated testing (Selenium, Mocha, Chai)
• Experience with Postman Collection experience
• Experience with AWS CLI, Shell Scripting (Bash)
• Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Automation of Infrastructure as Code with CI/CD Pipelines utilizing a test driven approach
