Job Description

Job DescriptionIBM Rational DOORS is a Requirement management tool. We are looking for programmer who can develop, maintain and support DOORS and DOORS Next Gen (DNG) related Activities.Technical Skills required:

  • Working Experience in DOORS 9.x tool customization
  • Experience in Tools/Interface development using DXL (DOORS Scripting Language), Python/Perl and REST API s
  • Doors/Door Next generation(DNG)
  • Know how of the following is advantage
  1. Strong customization expertise in IBM Collaborative Life Cycle management tools (IBM ALM)
  2. JIRA, JSD and Jenkins
  3. Object Oriented Programming concepts
  4. Working experience in Oracle Database and SQL
Expectation from the role:
  • Develop DXL scripts to interface DOORS and other Reporting Tools like JIRA, RQM, MF-ALM(Quality Center) etc
  • Proved the technical solutions to end users based on their queries - First level as well 2nd level support
  • Must be highly collaborative, pragmatic and delivery focused.
  • Support technical queries related to DOORS and existing interfacing tools of DOORS
  • Should be able to evaluate and deploy new scripts as required by the project teams
  • Should have strong Process Tools automotive domain know how and working experience.
  • Requirement analysis, Design & Implementation of tooling features for next generation products in Braking Systems.
  • Development & Execution of necessary tests as part of development.
  • Delivery/Configuration management.
  • Participation in regular scrum ceremonies or global team meetings.
  • Regular Interaction with other function development team to solve issues faced by them and providing solutions
  • Should be able to independently and proactively address user queries and requirements.
  • Must have strong urge to learn and implement efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Perform administration/support activities of tools (namely DOORS, QC, ALM, JIRA,.)
  • Coordination with all stakeholders (tools end users and tools experts)
  • Diagnose problems/issues of the tools, (gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret)
  • Should have good oral & written communication skills
