Job Description

QA Engineer is responsible to certify the quality of the software products used across the organization. They are typically web applications that require manual and automation testing for functionality and performance. This is done through formulating effective test case, test plan; maintaining them and executing them. Good interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with the Business and Development teams.Required SkillsGood Communication skills, hands on experience working with any ETL Tool(SSIS,SSRS,SSAS)MandateGood to have Agile Knowledge framework.Strong in building queries with SQL Server.General Responsibilities Test to break attitude Flexible in working under changing and different work settings Maintain high team morale. Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines. Accurate time accounting and reporting of own work. Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality Pay high attention to detail in all work. Quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables. Contribute to the company knowledge base and process improvements. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes and procedures for testing is established as per standards defined by the organization. Log project related issues in the defect tracking tool identified for the project. Check for timely delivery of different milestones. Ensure end product meets the requirements. JD ETL Developer We need a position to be filled on ETL SSIS and below is the JD. (5 to 6YRs )The Software Developer will develop and deliver strategic data-centric applications leveraging the firm s next generation software and tools. This role is to work with our Application Development and Business Systems teams to build and grow our data collection, transformation and analysis capabilities. It also includes significant enhancements to applications, strong understanding of application design and development. Create source to target mappings and ETL design for integration of new/modified data streams into the data warehouse/data marts and Create other technical artifacts needed for project implementation.Competencies: Understands and meets stated needs & requirements of the stakeholders, brings contextual nuances in deliverables and work output to truly partner with all concerned stakeholders. Monitors own work to ensure delivery within the desired performance standards. Understands the importance of delivery within expected time, budget and quality standards and displays concern in case of deviation. Takes initiative to develop own technical / behavioral skills; reflects and learns from experiences of self and others. Is receptive to new ideas and different perspectives, Questions routine/ procedures that do not seem efficient and can be improved. Adapts to other cultures and unfamiliar situations, thinks on the feet & displays sense of urgency for completion of deliverables. Encourages teamwork and collaboration by promoting openness and dialogue, facilitates participation of self and other team members in organizational decisions and motivates other team members and drives pride and positivity in work. Exhibits professionalism in conduct of work and respects others views. Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues including customer, onshore counterpart, supervisors, team members, business analysts and business teams. Technical Skills : Experience in building complete ETL/SSIS processes, moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging and Data Warehousing Create ETL Processes and reports using Microsoft SQL Server Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Develop ETL code as per the technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs Knowledge / Experience on Attunity , Data Vault and wherescape. Writes advanced SQL including query/performance tuning Performance tuning of ETL processes Build and deploy effective SSIS packages Perform Data profiling and analysis of structured and unstructured data Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution Qualification Graduate / Post Graduate - 15 years of formal education Professional work experience of 5 to 6 years in ETL.Notice Period to be 15Days days and less.
