  • Design, develop and manage software application using the engineering principles
  • Work with architects and other engineers and contribute actively to system architecture and design decisions
The Challenges ahead:
  • Implement and advocate good engineering practices for co-located and remote teams
  • Actively engage in code reviews to improve code quality and promote TDD/BDD approach
Your key success factors:
  • Typically requires strong related experience of 4 to 8 years with a Bachelor s degree; or a Master s degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Hands on experience in MySQL, Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, Procedures & Functions), Pentaho ETL, Redshift, Jenkins.
  • Proficient in all aspects of SQL - Querying, Indexing, Views, Performance Monitoring.
  • Hands on experience in PL/SQL experience (Stored Procedures, functions, triggers and cursors etc.)
  • Hands on experience in JAVA.
  • Deep understanding of Computer Sciences & fundamentals, Data structures, Algorithms, Design patterns, HLD & LLD / OOPS, OOAD Concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Microservice architectures.
  • Thorough understanding of Object-oriented and functional programming styles
  • Extensive experience with Design & Development of complex software products & exposure to Unit testing tools.
  • Good Understanding to the Software Architecture, Software Performance & Security
  • Strong Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot applications & environment issues.
  • Adaptability, ability to learn faster, independent, responsible and diligent.
  • Good team spirit and interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal, communication skills, analytical skills & Business thinking.
  • Liquibase, Docker, AWS concepts
  • Experience to work in a fast paced environment with Scrum/Agile project methodology
  • Thrives in a team environment and has strong written and oral communication skills
  • Prepared to challenge the status-quo - propose multiple solutions with pros and cons
