Job Description

As co-founder of NFC technology, UWB enthusiast, and HW security ambassador NXP is a trusted partner for secure mobile transactions.Ecosystem driver NXP stands out with the ability to shape completely new ecosystems and use cases across different form factors.NXP is looking for passionate, talented and self-driven smartcard and eUICC professionals in multiple locations to become part of its eUICC Team that will drive the adoption of embedded SIM technologies in NXP SE products. This team is part of SE Software CoE delivering best-in-class software for eUICC supporting NXP s Secure Element portfolio.Your Responsibilities:

  • Work as an individual contributor and participate in the development, debugging and maintenance of NXPs flagship embedded software smart card products.
  • Understand technical specifications in the smart card domain and develop, debug code for the same.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality deliverables.
  • Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other persons point of view and A good team player.
  • Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel for meeting the business commitments.
Your Profile:
  • Knowledge on GSMA RSP and SIMalliance specifications for eSIM/ eUICC.
  • Working Knowledge on Java card Operating system based on Java card version 3.0.5 and System behavior of applet lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge on Various GP card specifications, Amendments and configurations
  • Ability to independently develop and validate the critical features
  • Hands on Experience with Network Simulator/device/UICC testing tools.
  • ETSI, 3GPP2 standards used for UICC, SIM, Toolkit and OTA features.
  • SGP22, SIMAliance (SIPP), ISO 7816, ISO 14443
  • Java Card
  • JAVA, C
  • Java Card OS
Desired Skill set
  • Knowledge of Card lifecycle states, Data store, Logical channel management, Keys management, Card Content Management, secure channel protocols (SCP 02, SCP03, SCP11 etc.), contactless services, GP APIS and various CASD scenarios
  • Basic understanding of hashing and symmetric/asymmetric cryptographic algorithms like SHA, DES, AES, RSA and ECC for various key lengths.
