Job Description

    The team operates as an agile organization, focused on efficiency, collaboration and innovation.All services, offers, technological platforms, are hosted and operated in public cloud environments (Azure), and make an extensive use not only of IaaS services but also of PaaS/SaaS services. Job Purpose: We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Cloud Infrastructure organization and lead the critical global project of migrating existing Azure cloud subscriptions to our newly launched Schneider Electric Azure Landing Zone platform. While the migration will be carried out by a 3 rd party vendor, the Project Manager needs to coordinate activities of the vendor with the internal teams of Schneider including the Azure Landing Zone technical team and the businesses (LoBs) whose subscriptions are being migrated. Ensuring successful migration of subscriptions as per the defined schedule, coordinating with LoBs to ensure that Definition of Ready and Definition of Done are met, escalating issues & problems proactively and sharing continuous progress reports with management are some of the crucial aspects of the job Key responsibilities
    • Ensure delivery of project on time and on budget
    • Take end to end ownership for the global project implementation
    • Collaborate closely with external partner, project team and internal Schendier LoBs to clarify responsibilities, establish milestones
    • Facilitate communications between external partner, project team and stakeholders
    • Proactively identify and monitor issues & risks for projects
    • Project schedule tracking
    • Maintain strong relationships with the Business and key stake holders
    • Provide regular Project status update and management reporting
    • Organize meetings with agenda, minutes distribution
    • Escalate to management when project progress is not satisfactory
    , * Technical & Soft skills The candidate is expected to have the following skills and experience:
    • Experience on Cloud Migration related projects with functional knowledge of the technologies
    • Proven track record of delivering projects independently, without mentorship
    • Proven track record of working on global projects requiring communication and co-ordination with teams in multiple locations & time-zones
    • Skills in all aspects and methodologies of project management
    • Knowledge on the full software development lifecycle
    • Understanding of Cloud Service Providers (Azure, AWS or GCP)
    The candidate should:
    • Have a service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
    • Quick learner, adaptability in a highly moving and fast-growing environment
    • Able to guide / influence the work of others
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Resourceful & proactive : take initiative & act
    Qualifications The candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:
    • 5+ years of strong global project management experience
    • Certifications in Project Management such as PMP or PRINCE 2 certified or SCRUM master are preferred
    • Bachelor s / Masters degree
