The opportunityHealth & Safety Manager role focuses responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.Health & Safety manager must have excellent attention to identify hazards. Should be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.Your key responsibilities- Responsible for Managing safe & secure work environment of the Center.- Conduct/organise/record relevant health and safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.- Conduct all risk assessments as required by legislation and are reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations- Inspect equipment and infrastructure to observe healthiness of the facility.- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.- Ensure EY meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.- Conduct safety meetings with Health & Safety core team members to ensure relevant safety guidelines are adhered and followed at the Center.- Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.- Liaise with external health & safety consultants to ensure the compliance & regulations are updated and implemented at the Center.- Coordinate and provide on ground support to BCP Team during Emergency situations.- Responsible for team building and development across centres.- Demonstrate leadership and inculcate EY values and culture in the team.Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - ExternalSkills and attributes for success- This role entails analysing Risks, Vigilant security measures and taking decisions on increasing the efficiency of safety of Employees / Assets.- Demonstrate integrity, values and hold high moral grounds- Strong verbal and written communication, active listening and interpretation skills- Manage stakeholders, including leaders, vendors and build strong relationships- Strong influencing abilities- Ability to manage conflict and resolutions- Liaison with local law enforcement agencies and government agencies, government regulatory agencies and private industrial security counterparts as and when requiredTo qualify for the role, you must have- Graduate or a post graduate in preferably with completion of few certified courses like (NEBOSH, IOSH and ISO-27001).- Minimum 10 years experience in leading a team of 3 5 members.Ideally, youll also have- Experience in working in large matrixed organizations- Ability to function in a rapidly changing, heavily matrixed and often virtual environment- Ability to prioritize, drive and adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced environment- Culturally sensitivity and be capable of handling interactions with a global mindset- To Coach/mentor team members in a cross-functional environmentWhat we look for- Strategic thinker; ability to look at the bigger picture and can partner with key stakeholders to drive the direction of the business- Ability to use a strategic, solution-oriented approach to creating interest in our unique value proposition with senior level executivesThe goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.,
