Leveraging industry-leading firsts in VoLTE, VoWiFi, Advanced Messaging (RCS), Multi-ID, vEPC, and Virtualized RAN, Mavenir accelerates network transformation for more than 250 CSP customers in over 120 countries, serving over 50% of the world s subscribers.Role SummaryTechnical Support Engineer: Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Survey Tip: In software companies this position generally interacts directly with the customer/user when the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature, such as with systems level software where the user has a technical background. In a less sophisticated environment, as with many applications products where the user is nontechnical, this position would generally interact with product support personnel and potentially the customer when the customer s problem cannot be resolved directly by first-level resources.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting issues in IMS domain. Responsible for restoration of Critical services in minimum possible time. Root cause analysis for issues based on server logs, Tektronix traces and online traces. Coordinating with cross domain teams & vendors to plan, optimize and resolve network issues Technical support and resolution of complaints raised by circle teams. Managing and supporting planned activities, executing them and post activity monitoring. Arranging the upgrade and/or patch installation on servers with FOA testing and lab validation Validating vendor recommended CR, MOPs and ensuring deployment in planned way. Optimizing network based on KPIs for proper utilization during traffic surges. Technical documentation of issues for reporting, tracking and enhancement. Auth DNS server configurations for creation/updating/deletion for FQDN entries. Dealing with deep technical concepts in the signaling plane with the following protocols: SIP, DIAMETER, DNS/ENUM, MAP, INAP, CAMEL. Good understanding of SS7/SIGTRAN (M2PA, M3UA) and IP networks.Good understanding Openstack, Virtualization, Containerization Daily operation on Linux platforms and vmware virtualization technologiesJob RequirementsTroubleshooting issues in IMS domain.
