Job Description

Over the last several years, P&A teams across all lines of businesses came together under one organizational umbrella, and as part of that effort, there was a specific firm-wide objective to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics within the P&A teams. The Finance & Business Management Transformation Organization was created to do just that. In order to support these objectives, newly created Garages have been set up to help re-center the team around productivity measures that focus on agility, iterative learning, adaptability and scalability across the firm. The Investment Review Governance team will be responsible for technology investment financial management, business case planning and results analysis, and running the investment review committee for OCFO. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, equally adept at detailed financial reporting/analysis and broad out of box strategic thinking. The role is a hybrid of strategy, business analysis, and financial management/budgeting/planning and will require outstanding partnership from the candidate to be successful. This role is highly cross-functional working closely with product owners across OCFO and technology teamsKey Responsibilities:

  • Contribute with all domain and technology owners and manage the end-to-end investment governance process for OCFO
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure results are aligned with financial budgets/targets and business strategy
  • Become a subject-matter expert on the large strategic investments, guiding overall arching strategy, and business case development
  • Partner closely with OCFO and technology leaders and their teams through engaging in consultative strategic / financial analysis projects that provide insights into product and domain roadmap
  • Prepare senior management presentations for finance leadership to communicate financial performance Build and foster strong partnerships across key functional teams and lines of business
  • Partner with the Technology Business Management team to identify and evaluate areas that will benefit from the implementation of automation software and Dashboards, via suite of BI tools
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree, with Masters a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in Finance or related analytical area
  • Ability to synthesize and structure data to tell the story is important along with natural intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent thought leadership, strategic business acumen, and intellectual curiosity
  • Attention to detail and capable to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong partnership mindset in working cross-functionally to create efficiencies and develop solutions to business problems
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to tailor messaging and communicate effectively across all levels of management
  • Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing and presentation skills
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in a dynamic, startup like environment
  • Should be comfortable working in EMEA shifts
