Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Financial Analyst for our FPA Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore office, who will primarily focus on planning, reporting and analysis of bookings, revenue, operating/capital expense and headcount in a fast paced and Cross functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage deliverables through the monthly accounting close, quarter forecasting and annual planning processes, in a timely and insightful manner
  • Develop, deliver and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, KPIs and dashboards
  • Standardize processes and develop SOPs
  • Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial plan/forecast
  • Support in executing various strategic and tactical initiatives of the FPA CoE
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation
  • Present analysis / dashboards to senior finance and business leaders
  • Play the role of a functional expert in Oracle, Hyperion and other business reporting tools
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Finance, Corporate FPA, IT and Sales Operations teams and demonstrate strong internal customer focus

Knowledge, Skills, Qualification:

  • Education: A minimum bachelor s degree in Finance
  • Years of experience: 3-5 years of FPA exposure. MBA is a plus but not mandatory

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, continuously learn, initiative, intelligence, strong attention to detail, and integrity in striving for continuous improvement are essential to the success of this role
  • Superior quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop financial and operational models using spreadsheets and database software
  • Willingness to dig deep into details as well as the ability to assess the big picture
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint required. Exposure to Hyperion and Salesforce will be a plus
  • Flexibility to work in global timings
