Job Description

The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering financial analysis and reporting to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance management teams. This position is an integral part of budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing Consumer Banking Service Charges and Banking Fee revenue, including their relevant drivers. Nature of work is a mix of P&A (reporting, forecasting) and analytics (business cases, deep-dive analyses). A successful candidate will demonstrate both the ability to dig deep into detailed datasets and consolidate key messages for management consumption.Role and Responsibilities:Execute financial models within the Firmwide Forecasting Framework (F3) for budget & stress exercises, and ad-hoc as neededAnalyze model performance against actual results and against other exercisesAnalyze, organize and present model output to determine drivers of variances between forecast cyclesPartner with Finance teams (onshore/ local) to understand and deliver on various ad-hoc projects driving performancePresent model results to LOB CFOs, Product, P&A, and other key senior partnersInnovate and automate existing forecasting tools and reportingCommunicate financial results with internal business partnersContribute to the CCAR/ICAAP stress testing exercisesSkills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications:Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance5 years experience in accounting / finance department (internal or external)Strong sense of responsibility and self-organizationWorking knowledge of banking, specifically small business depositsAble to work independentlyAble to multitask in constantly changing environment and attention to detailStrong analytical / problem-solving skills ability to analyze complicated problems/scenarios, come up with root cause analysis, and recommend next steps based on findingsAbility to find relationships and identify patterns in large datasets and to see business implications of findingsAbility to take ownership of processes and functionsHas effective communication skillsStrong organizational skills (position faces off with Product, P&A, Credit Card, Commercial Card)Strong technology skills in Excel, Power pointWorking knowledge of Essbase will be a strong preferenceExperience with Tableau is a plusExperience with VBA macros is a plus,
