The selected candidate will own multiple complex blocks of the products and deliver on all post silicon validation phases of the product by owning test Plans/ test content development/execution and debug. This role needs cross-site collaboration with Design/architecture/pre-Si/FW/SW/BIOS teams and other post-Si partners to deliver on technical features, leverage BKMs, and debug HW/SW/FW issues. As a validation lead, the selected candidate will own validation methodologies to optimize the post silicon validation of the PSG product lines in areas of Test content development, Execution, Debug and coverage.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in:- Strong experience in FPGA or ASIC IP/System development, validation & debug cycle- Experience in micro-architecture design, RTL implementation, FPGA synthesis and timing closure, Lint/CDC/STA and debug of complex digital blocks.- Exposure in pre-silicon validation/verification flows in simulation or emulation- Expertise in post-silicon validation of FPGA or ASIC/SoC CPU/Networking products, including familiarity with Python/TCL.- Experience in FPGA hardware implementation and Debug with Intel Quartus or Xilinx Vivado- Expertise in FPGA or ASIC board bring-up & debug including JTAG, internal/external logic analyzers, protocol analyzers and oscilloscope. Use of specialized test equipment like IXIA/Spirent testers,- Expertise in one or more high speed IO protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, CPRI, etc.- Experience in high speed serial transceiver Gigabit Transceiver interface and Integration is a plus.- Experience with FW architecture, FW development or FW validation or FPGA configuration flows would be an added advantage- In addition, the ideal candidate is expected to have,- Skills & ability to be a self-starter, ramp quickly on new technologies and collaborate closely with stake holders to drive quality and efficiency.- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.- Good communication skills, verbal and written.- Strong inclination to innovation to drive efficiencyInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
