Job ID: JR0157828Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireFPGA System Validation ExpertJob DescriptionWe are looking for experienced Validation engineers to lead the Post Silicon Validation for PSG FPGA product lines The selected candidate will own multiple complex blocks of the products and deliver on all post silicon validation phases of the product by owning test Plans test content development execution and debug In this role responsibilities may include but not limited to Postsilicon hardware validation amp debug of next generation FPGA amp highspeed Transceiver tiles Lead definition of validation strategies validation plans content development and drive execution and debug with cross functional teams Development of methodologies and capabilities that enable efficiency and effectiveness of postsilicon test content including synthesizable FPGA designs amp scripts Crosssite collaboration with Design architecture preSi FW SW BIOS teams and other postSi partners to deliver on technical features leverage BKMs and debug HWSW FW issuesQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in ElectricalComputer Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Strong experience in FPGA or ASIC IPSystem development validation debug cycle Experience in microarchitecture design RTL implementation FPGA synthesis and timing closure LintCDCSTA and debug of complex digital blocks Exposure in presilicon validation verification flows in simulation or emulation Expertise in postsilicon validation of FPGA or ASIC SoC CPU Networking products including familiarity with PythonTCL Experience in FPGA hardware implementation and Debug with Intel Quartus or Xilinx Vivado Expertise in FPGA or ASIC board bringup debug including JTAG internal external logic analyzers protocol analyzers and oscilloscope Use of specialized test equipment like IXIA Spirent testers Expertise in one or more high speed IO protocols like PCIe Ethernet CPRI etc Experience in high speed serial transceiver Gigabit Transceiver interface and Integration is a plus Experience with FW architecture FW development or FW validation or FPGA configuration flows would be an added advantage In addition the ideal candidate is expected to have o Skills ability to be a selfstarter ramp quickly on new technologies and collaborate closely with stake holders to drive quality and efficiency o Excellent problemsolving and interpersonal skills o Good communication skills verbal and written o Strong inclination to innovation to drive efficiencyInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
