Job Description

    * The ETL Developer will provide support on projects including designing, building, and maintaining metadata models and complex ETL packages. This position is responsible for data reporting, converting customer requests into technical details, and ensuring deliverable commitments are met. This position works with clients and leadership at various levels within the organization to research and identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow the development of the data or reporting solutions needed. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of the project. The candidate should have proven experience developing successful Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI.-Develops advanced BI applications using the MS BI stack including SSIS, T-SQL/stored procedures and Complex Views for Reporting Dashboards-Additional knowledge of AWS Redshift & Tableau is additional advantage-Analyzes and improves existing dashboards, reports and reporting systems-Assists in designing extensions to our Data Warehouse systems-Provides training and expertise to business users and other stakeholders on utilizing their reporting needs-Works closely with the Data Architecture team and provides technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications-Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing of BI solutions-Designs functional specs Documents for BI dash boards and reporting, considering appropriate data flow and capture-Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions-Identifies problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines-Provides expertise and guidance to other developers in the use of the toolset-Flexible to work on the data model design on agile methodologies Qualifications 5+ years of experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire Microsoft BI (SSIS,SQL) Additional knowledge of AWS Redshift & Tableau is additional advantage5+ years of experience working in a data warehouse environment and a strong understanding of dimensional data modeling conceptsMust be able to build Business Intelligence solutions in a collaborative, agile development environmentWorking knowledge of GitHub is advantage.Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make self-decisions to solve complex design issues.Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issuesAbility to manage multiple projects at the same time Support activities and New development activities handled parallel.Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong aspiration to learn new technologiesAbility to maintain confidentialityExperience in the Finance domain is additional advantage., *SQL DeveloperExperienced DB programmer and SSIS developer.Experience with BI systems preferred.
