Job Description

    To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote, but requires you to be located in India.Were looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team, passionately focused on delivering creative improvements for our engineering teams.Youll be part of the Jira Platform team reporting to an Engineering Manager. Youll be part of a team creating immense impact for millions of Jira users worldwide, across multiple experiences in Jira. The work you will do within Jira platform has potential to serve multiple Jira Products within the Jira Product Family.What youll do
    • Build customer-facing Front End components
    • Build REST OR GraphQL APIs that power core customer experiences
    • Ship well-tested, secure and reliable, and maintainable code while keeping our customers best interests in mind
    • Collaborate with product, design and engineering to execute
    • React to how our product is used in the wild, and troubleshoot to fix bugs and production issues as they occur
    • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with security, performance and reliability in mind
    • Mentor and level up the skills of your teammates by sharing your expertise
    Your background
    • Bachelors or Masters degree with a preference for Computer Science degree
    • 4 to 7 years of experience designing and building a production-level web application
    • Hands on Experience with Typescript, Redux, Redux-Saga, React, GraphQL with apollo, Express JS
    • Familiarity writing cross-browser compliant HTML & Sass/CSS
    • Familiarity working with UX and Visual Designers
    • Understanding of micro-frontends, micro-services oriented architecture
    • Hands on experience with Java , API development
    • Knowledge of Database technologies (SQL / NOSQL )
    • Deep understanding of front-end and architecture and data-driven development
    • Experience with building scalable systems with core backend design pattern and architectures
    • Good to have Experience with building systems in Cloud (eg AWS)
