Job Description

Who we are looking forThe SSGM Funding and Collateral Transformation team (FaCT) engages in Reverse Repo transactions with Brokers, Bank Repo Transactions with Custodied Clients, and Sponsored Member Repo and Reverse Repo transactions on behalf of Custodied and 3rd Party Clients. FaCT additionally executes Repo transactions with Brokers on behalf of the Global Treasury BU.The North American SSGM FaCT operations is responsible for the daily settlement, netting validation, security master maintenance, and claims management for all FaCT business activity.Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets (SSGM).   • Confirmation of DVP collateral and repo cash settlement details
  • Netting and releasing cash payments
  • Monitoring prices
  • Supporting Front Office trader queries
  • Monitoring of Clearance/Settlement,
  • Client and Management Reporting
  • Develop effective working relationships with all SSGM staff at all levels across all locations.
  • Provide appropriate MIS data/feedback as and when requested to support business unit decision making.
  • Demonstrate Risk Excellence culture in their behavior and encourage an environment of openness and transparency that fuels effective challenge, debate and open discussion.
  • Identify and suggest process and control improvements to management to reduce risk on the team.
  • Assist with any new projects/new initiatives as directed by management

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in business, finance or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in Settlement/ Operations group
  • Knowledge of Repos, cash payment. Market deadlines required.
