  • The Solution Manager is an influential and customer-facing role, whose main focus is to build credibility with the customer, both for the proposed solution and Atos.
  • You will be engaged in high value complex solutions providing vision, direction, and management usually to one or more large and complex solution teams resulting in solutions that are compelling, profitable, and deliverable.
  • This involves building up an understanding of the customer requirements, defining and improving the solution process and pre-sales processes and evaluating business value; whilst ensuring compliance with the company and, for existing customers, the account technical standards.
  • You will ensure the end-to-end architecture / solution responds to the business requirements of the customers in the most efficient and innovative manner. The goal is to deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting a companys business needs.
  • You will create and defend the overall solution and its deliverability in the dimensions of business, technology, services, resources, timeline, and costs.
  • Supports contract negotiation
  • Presents and negotiates the solution with customer (from operational to CXO level)
  • Creates solution cost model to commercial management standards
  • Visualizes, Creates the Broad Storyboard for the solution including the Current, the interim and the Target mode of Operations.
  • Directs, leads, and guides the technical architects and SMEs in the preparation and development of the solution proposal and any presentations required. Works across the whole of the Atos capabilities and where vital develops non-standard items. Often works with Partners to develop the solution.
  • Participates and contributes to the Target pricing Workshops and Win to deliver Processes
  • Understands mechanisms how to create Savings Potential Estimation for the customer, creates financial pictures of Rough Order of Magnitude & Top-Down Pricing Allocation; Understands how to do a Solution based cost Scaling, Service Parameter Modelling (specially for scenarios where it is end-to-end IT outsourcing including Apps/infra elements) and understands Cost driver modelling topics
  • Work together with the Financial Architect to crate the Business Plan and defend it leading to customer savings, Target Margins, and cost Standards
  • Responsible for the overall solution and its deliverability in terms of business, services, technology, resource, timeline, and cost/ business case
Experience & Education
  • Comes with Industry experience including Delivery, Solution management, Pre-Sales experience working with large Global customers with the Top 20 IT companies globally.
  • Comes with an updated understanding of the new age offerings across digital transformations including cloud, decarbonization, Security offerings in the market.
  • Prefer a detailed understanding of the cloud offerings and understanding of at least two Hyperscalers to work with cloud Architects in driving large cloud Transformations.
  • Lead Application and Infrastructure Outsourcing Opportunities
  • Has an overall Industry experience of at least 10 years, and Leading Large Solutions for the last 3 years or more
  • Has a BS or an equivalent degree.
  • Experience in leading Customer opportunities larger than 100 million Euros as the end-to-end Solution manager
Certifications
  • Cloud Certifications would be preferred
Technology Experience:
  • Delivery Background with applications or Infrastructure management background.
Understands and have been working with at least three or more practices and offerings as below:
