Job Description

    As a Graphics Hardware Engineer/Tech Lead, you will work on graphics cores going into Intels next generation SoCs to power a wide range of devices from handhelds to servers. Were looking for passionate and talented Graphics Hardware Engineers/Leads who are ready to make significant impact in graphics and visual computing areas.As a Graphics Performance Verification Lead your job scope includes validation of graphics microarchitecture, performance validation of RTL design ( simulation or emulation ), testbench design and implementation and post-Si validation debug support of graphics designs. You will be responsible for performance verification/validation of complex RTL/logic clusters and blocks that go into multiple Intel graphics products.Your daily work will include one or more of the following responsibilities. The exact scope can be tailored based on applicants skills and experience. Define performance verification strategy and develop execution plans. Verification Planning , Estimation and Execution tracking for the team on multiple GPU projects. Develop detailed test plan for performance verification of various graphics units and IPs at Simulation and Emulation. Drive the execution of these test plans towards timely completion of the goals. Understand and drive various GPU and Machine Learning and/or AI Performance benchmarks on RTL via Simulation or Emulation to achieve the planned performance targets. Debug and root cause the performance bottlenecks in the design . Interact with and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design for performance bottleneck elimination and performance gains. Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of pass rates, performance criterion , coverage, as well as feature goals. Managing Validation deliverables for the team and stake holder management. Lead and manage a team of brilliant and enthusiastic GPU hardware engineers . Technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers in the team. Post-silicon debug support.Qualifications Bachelor or Masters of Engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent, with 12+ years experience in silicon design development. Additional qualifications include: Experience with RTL verification and validation of microarchitecture using Verilog/SystemVerilog/C++/Directed-Random Stimulus Exposure to CPU or GPU designs, micro-arch verification or performance verification at IP or System level is desirable. Knowledge of Graphics/CPU architecture and/or designs, Caches , Memory Fabric etc is an added plus. Experience with coverage driven verification, testbench development, performance validation/ benchmarks, functional modeling and test writing/debug Experience with industry standard front-end design and verification flows/tools/methodology. Good team/people management skills with 2+ years of people management experience.,
