Job Description

    Exp : Min 4 yrsLocation: BangaloreGuarantees / SBLC - Checker/ Team Leader Job Description - Perform Vetting of Bank guarantee text provided by client / Correspondent Bank to ensure legal compliance and applicable Trade rules and Laws ( URDG 758, ISP 98) - Authorizing - Issuing International Bank Guarantees for corporate clients, as well as Standby Letters of CreditKnowledge/Experience: - Must possess CDCS certification / Preferably CSDG - Strong understanding of ICC rules such as UCP / URDG / ISBP / URR / ISP as appropriate to the sub-domain that the candidate is expected to manage. - Must have minimum 4 to 6 year of experience in Trade ops Vetting & Checking of Gurantees TransactionsQualifications: - Graduate from a reputed Institute or University in any discipline - Willing to work on Sundays (Shift : Sunday to Thursday) - Must possess CDCS certification / Preferably CSDG - Strong understanding of ICC rules such as UCP / URDG / ISBP / URR / ISP as appropriate to the sub-domain that the candidate is expected to manage. - Must have minimum 4 to 6 year of experience in Trade ops - Should be aware of AML and sanctions screening procedures in Trade - Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEssential: Knowledge of MS Office, English Language ProficiencyDesirable: Experience with Banks/NBFCs/BPODirect Responsibilities Perform Vetting of Bank guarantee text provided by client / Correspondent Bank to ensure legal compliance and applicable Trade rules and Laws ( URDG 758, ISP 98) Authorizing - Issuing International Bank Guarantees for corporate clients, as well as Standby Letters of Credit Full wording review, addressing all ambiguities and contradictions Ensuring controls are in place and guarantees adhere to internal policies, checklists, branch SOP, Credit Risk Authorizations, and specified client conditions Ensure that transactions processed with in specified turn-around-time. Ensure that transaction processed are as per site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and highlight any procedural modifications in SOPs wherever required. Ensure error KPI maintained below the site-specific error KPIs and incidents. Ensure strict adherence to internal guidelines and compliance aspects. Checking accuracy of issuance fees and commissions, reconciling guarantee commission calculations and adjusting errors. Chasing overdue fees and commissions within agreed time lines Responding to client queries whilst demonstrating a high level of client service at all times Contributing Responsibilities Help in preparation and submission of MIS and reports to management as required Support MO to address ultimate client needs and resolve customer complaints if any.
