Roles and Responsibilities- Only PhD candidates will be considered.- Anywhere between 5-20 years of experience with minimum 5 years in AI/ML projectsJob purpose:The advanced development leader will have the overall responsibility to identify high impact research topics in the field of digital medical technologies and pursue them with the team. The person will be responsible for protyping activities to understand the possibilities of the technology. This role will also identify key institutes to work with locally and globally both inside and outside the company. Additionally this role will build a roadmap for research activities for the division. The role will, by doing the above, help make the products more innovative and competitive in the global market.Duties and responsibilities:- Take inputs from current technology trends, key customer sites and closely work with the marketing manager to come up with research topics that are relevant to the division in the field of digital medical imaging, AI/ML and related technologies.- Develop prototypes to demonstrate the capability of the technology and the usefulness of the same for the company.- Creation of algorithms in this field and testing them to see the sensitivity and specificity of the same- Support the product development team in integrating the research work into the product.- Support the clinical team in conducting the clinical trial for the algorithms developed by the research team.- Coordination of projects / tasks with the AD-heads of international locations- Create IP for the company by coming up with innovative ideas that can be patented.- Identify research institutes who can work with the company on specific topics for complicated topics and speed of executionAuthorities:- Authorized to take decisions on development of POCs.- Authorized to assign and manage work packages to various team members.- Authorized to review and approve documents as per QMS requirements.Qualifications:- PhD in imaging or related technologies- 5+ years experience in industry doing innovation and research- Led a team of researchers for 1+ years- Demonstrated English language skills and communication ability. ,
