Job Description

Job Overview TE Connectivity s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE. Responsibility Key Responsibilities
    • 10-14 years of industry experience
    • Working knowledge in electro-mechanical product designs (Terminal Block, Distribution Block and Connectors)
    • Expertise on CAE tools, Optimization techniques, and testing methods
    • Understanding of LEAN / 6 Sigma / Kaizen techniques.
    • Proficiency in state-of-the-art FEA & CAD tools such as ANSYS WORKBENCH (Structural, Thermal, Electrical, HYPERMESH, , MOLDEX3D, CRE-O
    • Must have experience in simulating Thermoplastic / sheet metal/ machined components.
    • Correlation of Test and simulation data / results.
    • Knowledge about various phases of product realization, product development & sustenance engineering, VAVE, Teardown
