Job Description

Globex is Hiring for Cloud Operation EngineerExp-5-8 yearsWork Location- BangaloreShift Working - Upto 11.30 PM IST is requiredRoles and Responsibilities

  • 5+ years industry experience supporting n-tier web applications, PaaS, or cloud technologies.
  • 3+ years provisioning and operating applications in the AWS cloud
  • Strong proficiency in Linux administration
  • Strong proficiency coding in one or more of the following: Python (ideal), Linux shell scripting.
  • 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following databases: MySQL, Cassandra or other noSQL;
  • 2+ years of experience using monitoring tools: Grafana, Datadog etc;
  • Experience using Continuous Integration tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, Chef/Salt, etc).
  • Strong proficiency with building AWS AMIs: Packer, etc
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles; able to participate in 12/7 on-call rotation
  • Proven experience configuring and performance tuning one or more of the following web servers: Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, etc.
Shift Working - Upto 11.30 PM IST is required for this role.Additional Qualities:
  • Strong writing & communication skills; detail oriented when managing operational tasks
  • Strong experience with Docker, containers and Kubernetes
  • Ability to design and develop a Python n-tier web application.
  • Strong experience designing and managing fault tolerant web platforms with 99.9+ availability.
