This individual will help define, implement, and support software solutions as well as collaborate across teams to implement the solutions. This position is part of a fast-paced agile environment and requires the individual to adapt well to change. Enabling a digital experience both for employees and customers is a critical part of this role which will lead to the continued success of CenturyLink. The Senior software Engineer will function as part of a team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing complex software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects. This is an Salesforce application that is designed based on the core principals of leveraging web components, responsive web design using the Vlocity CPQ, Sales cloud and Marketing Cloud. It Access REST / SOAP APIs securely using HTTPS, Token based authentication & authorization. BIWF (or Best in World Fiber) is an effort to build an ordering, provisioning, and management system without the constraints of interacting with legacy systems. Its focus currently is fiber installs, although this will likely extend to services that can run on top of the fiber infrastructure. Job Description Partner in an agile SCRUM team environment to be able to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software Work closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately complex software. Coordinate and partner with business teams and other IT teams inside and outside of the organization to identify and manage dependencies and deliverables, meeting client expectations. Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver best-in-class feature delivery for applications. Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives, and required ceremonies to plan, track, and code development tasks. Translate simple to complex user stories into functional and actionable software. Create visual representations of logical business processes using Visio or other open-source design tools. The ideal Candidate will be having following: Essential Skills: Bachelor s degree or equivalent education and experience. Operational experience with development and deployment in large-scale environments Minimum of 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting web applications for large corporations. Should have advanced or expert level knowledge of the following technologies: Vlocity CPQ Marketing Cloud Sales cloud REST / SOAP web service Intermediate or above level knowledge with SOQL or SOSL-like languages At least 3.5+ year experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Salesforce (Apex, VisualForce, Lightning) Vlocity CPQ SOAP APIs, REST (JSON, XML) Marketing cloud Journey Builder, Social /SMS Studio support Email, SMS, Web & Social. Development Experience of Journey builder Content builder, Contact builder, Audience builder SFMC Reports and Dashboards, Integration with CRM (SFDC or other CRM tools) Self-starter, can-do attitude a must in a fast-moving business and technical environment. Strong problem-solving skills, time management and oral and written communication skills Desired Skills: Experience with developing Vlocity CPQ, Sales cloud, Marketing cloud Experience with Salesforce integration using REST / SOAP.
