Job Description

Warm Greetings from Indecomm Global Services !We are hiring for the role of Underwriting - Ops . Interested candidates can send in their updated resume for the rounds of discussion.Job DescriptionUnderwriting reviewer is responsible for evaluating mortgage files as per applicable GSE/Government Agency selling guides and the Lender overlays. The Underwriter is responsible to determine if the risk covering the mortgageloanis permissible per guidelines and covered adequately with the collateral property. The transaction should also comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of US Residential Mortgage Industry
  • Ability to review all the components required for the Underwriting review
  • Well versed with Conventional and Government loan guidelines
  • Knowledge of multiple LOS and adept at interpreting various AUS reports
Skills & Ability
  • Eye for detail, reporting, problem solving & timeliness
  • Ability to calculate all types of income, Assets, Appraisal reports, interpret overlays, Identify red flags, review credit, calculate Assets and other review activities
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills
  • Should have good analytical skills and have the ability to make decisions based on facts
  • Competent with MS office applications, LOS, LMS, Selling guide navigation
Responsibilities
  • Problem solving ability by connecting the dots across the loan documentation
  • Perform end to end risk analysis of a loan file
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  • Meet daily targets & all SLAs as communicated
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work in Night shift
  • Willingness to work on Weekends and Holidays.
