Job Description

  • Be part of the core software development team and work with technical leaders & architects to understand product requirements
  • Create design documents and develop PoCs
  • Design, development and product deployments in Cray Shasta environment
  • Implement new product features
  • Work with other teams like Storage, CDC platform and enable mercury platform to deploy microservices
  • Provide guidance to management and participate in technical HPC tech forums / opensource forums
  • Process Improvement /optimization & Adherence, Process Standardization (like Jenkins / opensource process etc )
  • Product automation / creating nightly builds / end-end deployments
Essential Skillset
  • Experience in designing and developing manageability stack/software solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux development environment & shell scripting
  • Extensive experience with multiple containers technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Containerd, Singularity etc
  • Excellent coding knowledge especially python , Go Lang, Java basics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in cloud technology/virtualization
  • Good understanding of helm charts and opensource distros
Education and Experience Required
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate effectively with customer /stakeholders and management
  • Team player and mentor
  • Educational Qualification Bachelor/Masters in engineering and relevant experience
  • 6-10 years experience
