  • Project Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Project Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : 1 Unix Specialist, experience in HP Linux, AIX, Solaris 2 HPUX OS installation, configuration, implementation, Security Configuration , Troubleshooting HPUX issues a DRD Configuration, Performing Ignite Backups, Network configuration and APA configuration 3 HPUX Server Backup using MAKE_NET, MAKE_TAPE, Make Recovery 4 HP-UX and AIX clustering and virtualization Unix administration, Hardening and troubleshooting 5 Installing patches and packages, Configuring NTP, NFS, DNS, NIS and Mail
      • Technical Experience : 1 Performance tuning and kernel Parameter modification 2 Install/upgrade operating systems Printer administration and configuration 3 Should have Network, Database, application and storage knowledge 4 Knowledge of VCS VXVM installation and configuration 5 Experience of configuring VXVM VCS cluster, configuring MC Serviceguard, Veritas Failover 6 Administration of Ignite server, DNS and DHCP servers 7 Knowledge of Filesystem Management along with LVM, SAN, NAS environments
      • Professional Attributes : 1 Ready to Manage the HPUX servers in 24/7 in high availability Environments 2 Willing to work in 247 support and even on weekends supports as per the client requirements 3 Willing to work from different locations as per the client requirements
      • Educational Qualification : As per Accenture norms
    • Additional Information : 5 years of professional systems maintenance experience in a Unix environment
