Job Description

    Job descriptionRole & responsibilitiesMonitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace hazards and assess associated risks.Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents and injuries.Organize and conduct training sessions on health, safety, and environmental topics for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.Provide guidance and support to ensure understanding and compliance with safety procedures and protocols.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and contributing factors.Prepare detailed incident reports, including recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios, including fires, chemical spills, and medical emergencies.Coordinate emergency drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of response plans and improve preparedness.Monitor environmental performance and compliance with environmental regulations and permits.Implement measures to minimize environmental impact, such as waste reduction, recycling initiatives, and pollution prevention strategies.Documentation and Record-Keeping:Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and other relevant activities.Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible for regulatory inspections and audits.
