Job Description

    Job DescriptionThe Human Resource Generalist is expected to assist with the administration of the day-to-day HR operations. The HR will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, rewards, and recognition.
    • Implementation and management of payroll processing, health insurance benefits, other wellness benefits and reward programs for India
    • Administer Total Rewards (TR) programs that align with business strategies and ensure the
    • The company can attract and retain the best talent in the market at all levels. Investigate total rewards-related issues and propose solutions.
    • Interacts with Business on day-to-day operation pertaining to transfers, promotions, separations, appointments, induction, execution of policies, etc.
    • Deployment of Corporate Programs & Change initiatives. Ensure all practices are within HR compliance limit
    • Stay up to date on compliance with national, state, and local employment laws and regulations in India, and review policies and practices to maintain compliance
    • Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs
    • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the companys benefit programs, practices and procedures, including but not limited to health benefits, Retirement Plans, leave, and Flexible
    • Benefit plan, in relation to the strategic objectives and in terms of perceived benefit to employees, cost, legislative requirements, and organizational culture.
    • Conduct/Attend periodic audits to see the organization is compliant with statutes.
    • Training needs identification with all the teams. Explore, propose and implement training and development programs as per the requirement.
    • Employee database management, filings, and compliances
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
    • Managing operational and administrative functions to obtain day to day objectives
    • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
    • Managing Attrition and Exit procedures
    Education/ExperienceSkills Required:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: the ability to tell a clear, concise, actionable story with data, to folks across various levels of the company
    • Advanced relationship-building, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
    • Efficient in Microsoft Office and presentation.
    • 4-6 years experience in HR/BP function (preferably from a start-up)
