Job Description

Position Description: IFRS17 Technology Consulting SME (Manager)Location Bengaluru / GurgaonDesired requirements/Skillset: Key Requirements:

  • Must have at least 10 yrs of Industry experience in finance transformation implementations.
  • Experience in Financial management, Financial accounting and reporting, Regulatory requirements
  • Need to have good knowledge and experience in Insurance domain (Life or Non Life),
  • Good understanding of IFRS17 standards; hands-on implementation experience (desirable)
  • On technical side, need to have prior experience in Insurance transformation programs involving any standard COTs products.
  • Skills required on any relational database like Oracle, SQL, MySQL etc. Database concepts should be strong with experience on Data Modelling and data mappings.
  • Need to have knowledge on at least one of the scripting languages: SAS scripts, R, Lua or other similar languages
  • Knowledge and understanding on any actuarial system (like axis, Prophet) or Accounting engine, General Ledge (SAP) is PLUS
  • Knowledge on Web services (REST API JAXRS and Jetty, SOAP), Messaging (Active MQ) and other integration utilities/frameworks is PLUS
  • Knowledge of SAS base and SAS macro programming and SAS tools (e.g. SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console and SAS Visual Analytics) will be an added advantage.
  • Experiences in implementing SAS Finance and Risk Workbench(RFW) and SAS Infrastructure for Risk Management(IRM) will be an added advantage.
  • Assist in identifying, developing, testing and implementing IFRS accounting operational and reporting solutions to meet financial and regulatory reporting requirements, map financial reporting processes and modify control procedures, as required.
  • Prepare and consolidate IFRS related issues and procedural training documentation.
  • Provide support in documenting current processes and new IFRS requirements.
  • Facilitates small to large meetings and conducts information gathering and/or training sessions as required.
  • Analyze current baseline and gaps based on leading practices, confirm the finance vision, define Finance TOM and develop roadmap for change
  • Evaluate management reporting requirements, design reports to meet current reporting requirement, standardize reports and design dashboards
  • Analyze current finance function process, structure and capabilities, assess current capability gaps, design future state business partnering framework
