Together, we re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.Do you want to work in a custom laboratory automation development group developing software products and instrument device interfaces Do you enjoy supporting customers to develop software to meet their specific needs Then read on!We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Access Solutions Group works with multiple customers to develop software to meet their specific needs, and our standard project is integrating a third-party device and controlling it from the Beckman scheduling software to be used as part of a larger experiment.Responsibilities:
• Participate on multi-functional product research and development teams, product or system design reviews
• Troubleshoot technical issues remotely to support our customer base
• Collect, interpret, and document software requirements
• Estimate and quote custom work for customers
• Assist remote field personnel to diagnose and solve device integration issues
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with C# and the .NET Framework
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with engineering team, technical support personnel and customers
• Demonstrated teamwork and a focused urgency and willingness to manage multiple short and moderate duration projects
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and database technology
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Experience handling technical support tasks including gathering of diagnostic information
