Job Description

    * Job Description for People Analytics SCRUM master with Schneider Electric India Schneider Electric (SE) is the global specialist in energy management and automation. Schneider Digital (SD): All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers.Role: Manage the People Analytics engineering scope of work PRP, P@iP & Intel Data lake. This role is to lead the SCRUM meetings and SCRUM team. E2E responsibility and accountability of releases. We are seeking an eager individual with strong technical aptitude who wants to grow in the software field. The Scrum Master s role is to help organize and deliver analytics dashboards/visualizations to our customers. This position will work closely with product owners & portfolio manager who will provide direction on scoping out strategic initiatives, enhancements to perform PI planning, story sizing with developers, project plans as per the available capacity, then scheduling tasks and resources to deliver requirements on time.Qualifications & Certifications
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or similar disciplines (preferred)
    • Agile or Scrum master certification such as CSM, PSM I, SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master, PMI ACP (preferred)
    • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or similar role within a software development team
    Experience
    1. Total experience of 6-10 years, with excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills
    2. 3+ years experience in defining & managing Agile projects as SCRUM master
    3. Scrum Master experience
    4. Agile Project Management (preferred)
    5. General knowledge of IT, DevOps and Development processes
    6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    7. Working knowledge in the use of Kanban Board, Development Ticketing Software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    Responsibilities
    1. Interfacing with Product owners and Software development teams
    2. Documentation of plans w.r.t. to timelines, resources through JIRA and release monthly plan
    3. Manage JIRA board and workflows
    4. Facilitate scrum ceremonies and processes (sprint planning, daily scrum, demos, retros)
    5. Take responsibility for ensuring that estimates are always complete and accurate
    6. Take responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are on time and of production quality
    7. Identify and resolve all blockers, including gaps in functional specification and/or intra-team communication
    8. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and disseminating information as needed
    9. Work well with onsite and offshore resources
    10. Create an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.
    11. Help sustain a high level of motivation in the development and QA teams
    12. Identify and resolve all blockers, including gaps in functional specification and/or intra-team communication
    13. Track and report on development team metrics such as velocity, risks, sprint burndown, release burndown, cumulative flow, etc. and work to improve the efficiency of the development team
    14. Working knowledge in the use of Kanban Board, Development Ticketing Software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    15. General knowledge of IT, DevOps and Development processes
    16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    17. Ability to evaluate technology solution options for business requirements
    18. Manage a team of employees & contractors manage all contracts-related documentation & processes
    19. Manage day-to-day operations of the team
    20. Self-motivated, positive attitude and ability to inject optimism
    21. Ability to challenge status quo and lead discussions in the right direction
    22. Experience in various stakeholders including vendors, executives, consultants, and suppliers
    23. Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
    24. Able to give and receive open, honest feedback and foster a respectful environment open to feedback and collaboration
    25. Escalate risks/issues and questions when needed to the relevant stakeholders
