Job Description

    As software Engineer III- Cloud at CB Digital of Commercial Bank at JP Morgan Chase, we re hiring for multiple positions in Commercial Bank digital transformation initiative. Great opportunity not only to learn payments, cards, loans, money markets & merchant services domains but also to participate in dynamic environment to take user centric design, digital, data intelligence and cloud skills to next level.As a Software Engineer III, you are required to have full stack with primary hands-on experience in developing and deploying spring boot based micro-services on AWS EKS, ECS and serverless cloud using terraform scripts. Secondary skill requires SRE and Java development skills. Job responsibilities
    • Our team is working on development/migration of future apps to AWS EKS/ECS, AWS (Public cloud), we have developers working on the code development and deployment part of it.
    • Cloud development and deployments of new/migrated applications by Jenkins/Spinnaker/Terraform config set up for AWS EKS/ECS.
    • Support Java coding side also as a secondary skill. So Cloud skills are primary and Java development are secondary for this position.
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • AWS Solutions Architect/Developer certification.
    • Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience to plan engagements to design, test, deploy, and validate the end-to-end resiliency and scalability of applications in AWS Cloud.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and drive integrations in a hybrid-cloud environment (On-prem and Public AWS)
    • In depth knowledge of web, messaging, database, microservices and service-oriented architecture and Java programming skills.
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Good to have SRE skills
