Job Description

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Understands business analysis activities, best practices as it relates to a specific project
  • Meet with customers to understand the business needs
  • Elicit requirements both business and system requirements using interviews, requirements sessions, workshops, document analysis, surveys, prototyping, process flows and use case modeling
  • Responsible for analyzing, documenting and validating requirements
  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and develop stakeholder matrix
  • Responsible for creating, Business Case, Business Requirement Document, System Requirements Specification, and Use Case documentation and obtaining stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Facilitates and provide leadership during requirement elicitation meetings
  • Create feasibility studies
  • Conducts bi-directional traceability of requirements and manage traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience in designing Prototypes/Wireframes and User Interface designs.
  • Work with internal project teams and business SMEs to ensure appropriate functional, non-functional, use case requirements, and system/software requirements are accurately captured.
  • Develop high-level specifications at the modular sub-system.
  • Support functional testing to verify and validate requirements.
  • Process mapping and documentation / liaise with relevant stakeholders to review possible improvements to processes and procedures.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, facilitation) with strong presentation and facilitation skills at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities with minimal direction.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, conduct, and direct research into issues, and take the initiative in the development and completion of projects.
  • Prior experience working with international clients and ensuring availability per different time zones.
  • Knowledge of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Body of Knowledge (BABOK), a big plus.
Domain Knowledge:
  • Healthcare Industry/Healthcare Payer or Healthcare verticals experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Member Enrolment and Eligibility, Provider, Claims processing, Concierge, Contact Centre as a Service Implementation etc
Technical skills:
  • Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Masters Degree, a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years serving in a business systems analysis or similar role
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MS Visio or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience creating business analysis artifacts and training manuals
  • At least 5 years experience in requirements management
  • Knowledge of Project Development Lifecycle (PDLC), Software Development Integration and delivery practices using waterfall methodologies
  • Familiar with Agile methodology and Cloud Implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite and SQL
  • Experience with Requirements management tools e.g., MicroFocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), BluePrint or other tools
