What Youll Do You will be part of the Application Security team within Cisco s Information Security organization, driving security adoption within the Cisco Enterprise. You will play a role in assisting these groups in securely architecting, building, testing, and operating their applications and platforms by aligning to industry standard methodologies, compliance and privacy requirements via Cisco s Security Control Framework. You will drive adoption, identifying and defining new security objectives and controls and helping with our automated security validation development. Who You Are You have security assessment experience - development, implementation, and maintenance of the security posture in an enterprise organization. You have knowledge of Agile Methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD with relevant experience in all phases of the application development across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS stacks. You have a validated foundation of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) and a working knowledge of various SDL requirements. Foundation in one or more security domains such as static analysis and dynamic application security testing, web application security programming, cloud services security, and identity/access management. You demonstrate good communication skills and can articulate application vulnerabilities, defects, technical controls, risks, and other complex security matters with the Business in a language that can be easily understood. You possess a solid understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation documented by organizations like OWASP, SANS, etc. You possess out-of-the-box thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills. You act critically, are hard-working, highly motivated, and eager to affect significant impact to make Cisco more secure! Minimum Qualifications: College degree. 6 Years professional experience including any combination of the following: IT Engineer/Architect Security Engineer/Architect Security Champion/Advocate Desirable Qualifications: Experience with modern federation and authentication protocols such as SAML, OICD, and OAuth. Cybersecurity related certifications such as ISC2 CC, CCSP, CISSP, CEH or CompTIA Security+. Experience in developing tools using an interpreted programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, PHP, etc.) Experience in low-code development platforms: Pega, ServiceNow, and Salesforce Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and technologies in public or private clouds, such as microservices and containers (Docker/K8s/EKS/AKS) Why Cisco #WeAreCisco.
