Job Description

Infrastructure DeliveryThis role has been designated as Office , which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) advances the way people live and work.   • Good knowledge in Cloud and Virtualization technologies for R & D product team environment.
  • Experienced in administration, deployment and configuration of latest version VMware, Openstack and Linux operating environment.
  • Deployment and administration knowledge on Container platform - preferably on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • L1/L2 levels troubleshooting skills on Infrastructure setup based on VMware, OpenStack, Linux KVMs and HPE OneView.
  • Continuous monitoring of R & D infrastructure to fix and report issues proactively to ensure infra availability.
  • Interact closely with R & D teams to understand their requirements regarding infrastructure and ability to execute.
  • Patch management, handle appropriate upgrades and review release notes in order to maintain R & D infrastructure up-to-date to provided latest version and better environment.
  • Datacenter network configuration and troubleshooting experience. Knowledge on internal private network and VPNs configuration for performance activities.
  • Having good hands-on experience in infrastructure hardware administration, deployment and troubleshooting preferred on HPE Sy/DL/BL Servers, Storage & RAID and network devices.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory by following an internal procedures and knowing the importance of asset management.
  • Follow internal process to work with external support teams for warranty claims, core network connectivity and datacenter activities like power and cooling.
  • Good in communication, creative problem solving skills and positive attitude.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor/Master Degree, plus 2 to 5 years in IT/Telecoms industry. R&D experience preferred.
