Your responsibilities will span monitoring, incident management, risk control, performance tuning, patching, upgrades and migration. And well offer feedback, coaching and mentoring all the way, helping you improve your skills and setting you up for greater opportunities within our Global Technology Infrastructure Group.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:BS/BA Degree or equivalent experienceStrong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skillsStrong experience with configuration and advance features of SQL ServerExperience with SQL Version 2008/2012/2016/2019 and exposure to MSSQL on Linux is plusStrong experience with SQL Server clusters with multiple nodes on each cluster, mirroring, logshipping, Always-on and other methods of disaster recoveryMigration of SQL Server databases from one platform to anotherExperience with SSIS packages, SSRS and SSASKnowledge of SAN, VM s, security, capacity planning, backup and recoverySolid skills in database performance tuning, optimizing queries and stored proceduresSoftware development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, SQL Scripting, Powershell Scripting and/or Perl/YAML (preferably). Also experience with Microservices is desirableDemonstrated ability to implement automated process to improve database system reliabilitySkill at troubleshooting complex problemsBackground in IT infrastructure, including systems or network administrationUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile development methodologyAbility to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals,
