Infrastructure Lead - IT

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operations Team is responsible for maintaining IT services (e.g.: applications, servers, backup and physical hardware, cloud environment). It will be done in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. IT Incident Management and IT Change Management).

The IT Infra Lead should:

Ensure that all IT Services, managed by Genomics are delivered effectively to customers. This includes the execution of SOPs and management of IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems in OTRS based on the related processes, procedures and work instructions.

Specific Assignments:

The main responsibilities are:

IT Operations

For the IT Services managed by Genomics team:

• Responsible of operations of the IT Infra IT Services;

• Monitor and enhance monitoring of the availability, performance and capacity;

• Analyze escalate appropriate issue to the IT Operations Manager;

• Make sure that changes are implemented in a smooth and controlled manner (e.g. Change Management, release procedure and monitoring criteria).

• IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems are managed according to the existing processes;

• Execute IT Changes based on standard operations procedures (SOP);

Other Assignments:

• Participate in the design of Eurofins standards and policies regarding IT Infrastructure services concerning operation;

• Together with peers, participate to the definition of Eurofins standards and policies;

• Liaise with other IT teams to design new IT Services.

• Ensure that Eurofins standards and policies are respected;

• Implement changes according to Eurofins standards and policies;

• Make sure that Eurofins standards correctly implemented and followed by his/her own team as well as by each customer supported.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 7 to 9 years of professional experience

Required

• Strong experience required as Windows administrator managing business critical applications;

• Good knowledge about AD Structure and GPO s

• Experienced hands on Azure cloud services for a hybrid domain setup

• Experience with not only Powershell, but also Terraform scripting or similar

• Operational understanding of MSSQL or MySQL databases;

• Experience in carrying out application integrations using advanced or custom connectors;

• Experience in integration with ITSM tools like OTRS / ServiceNow

• Expertise in Windows Active Directory infrastructure and related services (DNS, DHCP, Client, etc.);

• In-depth knowledge of ADFS AD LDS, SAML, OpenID or similar single sign-on architecture;

• Experience in Backup Solutions like CommVault in combination with Azure Services and Storage Solutions

Appreciated

• Extensive knowledge in building and maintaining complete hybrid AD domains

• Background as IT System administrator (Windows operating systems, VMware and NetApp) beneficial, as it will leverage mutual understanding with technicians.

• Knowledge about O365 services

• AD Administration - Access Permission Etc., Authentication Mechanism, LDAP , XAML

• Bachelors degree or comparable education

• Certification ITIL Foundation V3 highly appreciated, but not mandatory

• Languages: Fluent English.
