Job Description

nullPhilips HSDP is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help deliver complex projects using HSDP native services. You ll work with different teams and technology stacks in order to help our customers get the most out of HSDP in their cloud developments.You will be part of a highly skilled cloud operations team responsible for overall IaaS and PaaS management at a global scale. This pivotal role will provide you the opportunity to leverage your diverse IT background including security, networking and cloud knowledge to deliver our healthcare platform services to a broad set of internal and external customers.   • Design Cloud Native Application Architectures, ensure that solutions are designed using HSDP native services and with customer user experience, scale/performance, security and operability in mind.
  • Working closely with customers, educating them on the HSDP platform capabilities and help mapping their requirements onto HSDP offerings
  • Understanding of overall HSDP system architecture, scalability, reliability, security models and how it relates to the customer requirements.
  • Independently lead client design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations
  • Create proposed architecture diagrams and visualize the solution in great detail

  • Bachelors degree (BA / BS) in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred or equivalent experience with at least 9+ years of experience working in a relevant area
  • Experience in deploying applications within a production cloud environment (AWS or similar).
  • Understanding of network configuration (DNS, VPN, IP Proxy).
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure & Application monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to Cloud Foundry or other modern containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Ability to design interactions with AWS (AWS SDK, AWS API, Command Line Interface, AWS Cloud Formation, and other AWS Services such as SNS, SQS, SWF, DynamoDB, S3, etc).
  • Experience with information and application security including public key encryption, SSH, and access credentials.
  • Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
  • Requires highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Someone with a strong customer-focus and the ability to translate customer requirements into existing platform capabilities
  • Experience designing Cloud Native solutions and micro-service architecture
  • Experience with large-scale data analytics and data warehousing
  • 3 -10 years of experience with Amazon Web Services. Candidate must have strong experience with multiple AWS services beyond traditional IaaS.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (compiled or interpreted languages, like Java, NodeJS, Python, Go, etc)
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL Database or related Technologies.
  • Cloud Native Application Architecture: AWS PaaS/FaaS services, Serverless architecture, Containerization and Microservices, Lightweight and modern web applications.
  • DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, application automation, CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry.
