Job Description

    * Duties and Responsibilities - Participating in Functional Reviews o Have a deep understanding of both Debt as well as Equity markets in order to carry an effective conversation with clients on their asset allocation. o Understand the LRS and AOP objectives of BFL related to TASC channel. o Participate in functional reviews with Corp Liabilities Head and FD & Investments Heads on a regular basis. o Lead conversations / presentations on aspects related to Trust for one s own location or geography o Participate in regular reviews with Presidents Deputy CEO and MD during Financial Reviews and present on matters related to TASC. Bring Market Intelligence and generate insights o Undertake Primary / Secondary Research with the objective to understand market nuances how TASC industry works / moves and bring that understanding and intelligence into strategies at work. o Be updated about and identify existing Trusts Associations Societies & Clubs (TASC) in India and continuously enrich the database for ongoing prospecting and business opportunities. o Identify distributors who potentially could be empaneled with BFL to bring in addl. Trust Allocations. o Identify allocation opportunities with current distributors set. o Identify product opportunities in this segment for both new and existing TASC database Engage and Liaise with the TASC to build BFL book o Find ways / mechanisms to reach out to these identified TASC and proposition BFL products and offerings to them in order to onboard them. o Liaise with senior influencers within these TASC bodies to facilitate their support and easy decision making in favor of engagement with BFL. o Continually understand the market nuances requirements of TASC bodies and product opportunities of BFL thereby finding a sweet spot and continue to deepen relationship and engagement with BFL o Regularly travel and visit the clients for a face-to-face connect with them in order for improved engagement. Managing and Closing Service Requests (SR) and Ensuring Regulatory Compliance o Be responsible for ensuring that all Service Requests from the customers such as Transactional Requests Portfolio updates etc are met on time and in a responsive manner. o Continually inspect the nature of SRs and find ways and means to auto build that into client propositioning strategies. o Build seamless communication and engagement processes to continually engage with clients. o Understand issues at ground level review escalations/ RCA issue and interact with various stakeholders to ensure resolution/ closure of the issues (such as FD not received by the customer misprints in FDR maturity amount etc.) o Ensure that RBI regulations are closely monitored and adhered to in daily activities. Churn Investments into BLF Deposits MF Other Treasury Products o Deeply understand different investment opportunities within BFL such as Bonds CPs Mutual Funds etc. and be able to use this knowledge to proposition with TASC * Major Challenges - Managing sourcing within given parameters especially during volatile debt market situations. Handle concerns of trusts on taxation & regulatory guidelines. Realign to the dynamic business needs of sourcing volumes as per the organization goals. * Key Decisions / Dimensions - Documentation Completion of all the document as per the guidelines as given by operations Sales Activities Maintaining profilers and updating corporate on regular basis The decisions may at the best be limited to daily sales activities. , * Educational Qualifications a) Bachelor s degree/MBA/Masters or equivalent degree with specialization in Finance / Marketing /relevant fields b) NISM Series VA Certified or equivalent certification valid for MF distribution Work Experience c) Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in sourcing investment products from trusts. d) Has worked in a bank, financial products distributions/advisory house on institutional side, mutual fund institutional team Skills Required e) Good communication & presentation skills with ability to understand customer needs. f) Knowledge of financial markets (both equity & debt), good understanding of MF & NBFC/banking industry. g) Self-driven & focus oriented with high business orientation. Team player. h) Good basic knowledge of computer skills & ability to use MS office suite.
