Job Description

    Job Opening Details back to list Reference Code: BJ0939 Job Title: IP Security Engineer Category: Key Responsibility and accountabilities Operational task related security operations; Security related incidents and Vodafone managed CDNs. Manage Fortinet Firewalls, Security switches deployed for network security. Responsible for Mobile data traffic optimization, IT servers load balancing. Thorough understanding on Endpoint Security, Data leak prevention (DLP), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) and Unified threat management (UTM) Deploy and maintain Web application firewall feature and its operations Develop and apply testing procedures and test documents, perform validations for solution, migration, software release, device feature, interoperability tests etc. for any new system deployed in IP Security networks. Responsible for KPIs analysis and systems evaluation after any major planned changes in the IP transport network or any other network element based the demand. Support activities related to event and contingency plan of the customerCore competencies, knowledge and experience: Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering 5-8 years of experience in security operations related to firewalls, switches and load balancers. Strong background in Fortinet firewalls devices like FortiAuthenticator, Fortigate, , Fortimail, Fortiweb etc. Strong background in F5 devices like Viprion 4800 and its functionalities like LTM, , DNS, CGNAT, PEM etc. Hands on experience on Netscout Arbour DDoS solutions Good understanding Mobile network elements and its functionalities. Good understanding of IT applications load CRM, BSS, APIs etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills Basic knowledge Big data analysis and data mining. Team player with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships Self-motivated personality and eagerness to learn Desired Experience/Certifications IP networking Certification (NRS1-NRS2, CCNA-CCNP etc.) Certification in Fortinet devices (NSE 4 or above) Certification in F5 devices like F5-CA, F5-CTS, F5-CSE Multi-vendor Interoperability experiences (HP/Huawei/Cisco/Fortinet/Nokia) Knowledge in IP Networks products of HP, Nokia and Cisco will be an advantage.
