Job Description

Job DescriptionExperience : 8+ yearsSkill Requirements:

  • VMware, Tanzu, PROXMOX, RHCVA (Redhat Virtualization)
  • Windows and Linux server administration
  • Deep troubleshooting knowledge in VMware, Windows, and core infra services
  • Scripting knowledge on Terraform, Ansible, Docker & Kubernetes
  • VMWare certified professional
  • Good hands-on knowledge in the full software development lifecycle and knows how to integrate all aspects of it into a CI/CD pipeline across multiple tools, hybrid environments, and technologies. (Application code and infrastructure-as-code).
  • Strong understanding in working data center technologies with deep experience in developing Hybrid cloud reference architecture
  • Should have experience designing the Infra and network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
  • Should have worked on projects involving Cloud migrations from on premises to Cloud
  • Experience designing the HA / DR strategies.
  • Knowledge of deployment patterns and site-reliability engineering skills.
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate key facts and information.
  • Good knowledge of cloud compliance policies such as CIS and ISO27001 benchmarks
Technical Responsibilities:
  • Design solutions in Enterprise IT with core infra components and services (Virtualization, VM creation, OS installation, Networking, Clustering, Storage disk allocations and management, Monitoring, Backup and Recovery configuration)
  • Design and Implement DR and HA
  • IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Chef etc.
  • Build and deploy Docker containers to break up monolithic app into micro-services improving developer workflow, increasing scalability, and optimizing speed
  • Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred) and Windows system administration
  • Troubleshoot problems across different technology layers in Enterprise IT
  • Engaged over the entire lifecycle of large and complex projects from design stages through delivery oversight to ensure architectural and technical success for our groups projects and our customers
  • Implement containerized micro service solutions with Kubernetes Services and Docker
  • Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash or similar
