Job Description

IT Production Operations EngineerThis role has been designated as Edge , which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Technical .NET developer with experience in complex software development and support. Works closely with business and partner IT teams to understand business data, requirements, and integrations to ensure stable operations and to fix bugs and build new capabilities.Responsibilities:

  • 3-5 years of hands on experience in design, development, implementation and testing in web applications, and desktop apps using Microsoft Technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of full life cycle and various SDLC methodologies.
  • Good communication skills, adept at learning new technical skills
  • Experience in Database design using normalization techniques
  • Strong expertise in SQL programming with experience of writing & optimizing queries
  • Understanding of Software Unit & Integration Test methodologies and testing tools
  • Understanding of standard application service management tools (e.g. ALM / Service Now).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter, and individual contributor with effective team collaboration skills
  • Effective client communication skills.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Typically a technical Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a Masters degree and up to two years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • 3 -5 years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, C#, VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle). Experience of one or more full release cycles. Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
  • Basic understanding of modern software development tools and SCM (software configuration management).
  • Basic understanding of Software Test methodologies, test scripting and testing tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desired Technical stack # .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, ADO.Net, Jquery / JavaScript, SQL Server / Oracle Server, Web API / Web Services, XML / JSON, GitHub / TFS / SVN.
  • Nice to have technical stack # ASP.Net MVC, VB.Net, RESTful services.
