Job Description

As a IT Support Specialist in Xactly s Bangalore office, you will be primarily responsible for Xactly s global system footprint, ensuring 24X7 uptime and support for local servers and clients. You will also need to be proactive in securing all the logical business systems and intellectual property behind the firewall. You will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The technology landscape is evolving, and the person in this role participates in technical research and development to enable innovation.

They will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to the Vision of Xactly. You will also take on projects and be responsible for all phases, including definition, analysis, design, build, testing and change management. THE TEAM

  • Xactly s IT Support team provides daily helpdesk support per request from the user base. Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve issues.

Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituenci

THE SKILL SET

Hands on experience on troubleshooting Windows and MacBook s

Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers.

Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers

Expert knowledge on DNS, DHCP and windows clustering

Should have knowledge of Jira, Confluence, box.

Should have knowledge of networking tools.

Should have experience of ticketing tools.

Should have knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wireless and firewall.

Should be good with HELPDESK applications, Asset management & overall IT Vendor management

Job Requirements:

BE-Information Technology

  • 2 years of experience in desktop support experience and knowledge of the following Applications: MacOS, iOS, Windows, MS Office, VPN and remote technologies
  • Network administration, security and/or technical certification a plus

Excellent customer service, time management and organizational skills

  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works effectively with minimal supervision in a collaborative environment
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
