Job Description

IT Vendor Management Service Level Manager is responsible for the quality and integrity of the Service Level Management (SLM) Process as it relates to Service Providers supporting Global IT. In Global IT we are a multi-Service Provider supported organization. This role is integral in defining and executing the Service Level Management Process. The goal is to obtain optimal Service Provider actions and behaviors in order maximize HPEs investments.Responsibilities: Formulates and agrees with an appropriate Service Level Management structure for the organization, to include:

  • Service Level Agreement structure
  • Catalog of Service Level Agreements
  • Third Party Supplier/Contract Management relationships to the Service Level Management Process
  • Accommodating any existing Service Improvement Plans within the Service Level Management Process
  • Negotiates and agrees with the Service Level Agreements with the IT Customers and Service Providers
  • Analyzes and reviews service performance against the Service Level Agreements
Organizes and maintains the regular Service Level Review Process with both the IT Customers and Service Providers, to includes:
  • Review outstanding actions from previous Reviews
  • Current Performance
  • Reviews Service Levels and targets (when necessary)
  • Agree with appropriate actions to maintain/improve Service Levels
  • Initiates any actions required to maintain or improve Service Levels
  • Conducts annual (as appropriate) reviews of the entire Service Level Management Process and negotiates, agrees with and controls any amendments necessary
  • Acts as co-ordination point for Service Level changes
  • Ensures that appropriate changes are assessed for their impact on service levels
  • Carries out the Process Manager responsibilities for the Service Level Management process
  • Resolve performance related issues/escalations with third parties
  • Support invoice review, reconciliation, and payment process
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reviews
  • Support and coordinate third party-related internal audits
Education and Experience Required:
  • Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 8 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills. Strong business experience in multiple business sub-domains. Strong relationship management skills. Excellent project management and process development skills.
