Catalog team is ramping up to move over to next generation multiple loosely coupled microservice model moving from document processing to stream based processing on sophisticated business workflows. As a member of the Core Catalog and Content Product team in Bangalore, SAP Ariba. Your role will be - To Design and implement catalog features and functions using Java, Spring Techonologies. Work closely with Solution managers, Customer Support, Architects, Team members, technical leaders, user interaction designers, and QA engineers. Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software. Presenting ideas for system improvements across the organization and building POCs. Interact with customers for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.Role RequirementsB.E Comp Science or MS in computer science.5-8 years of experience in designing and coding web based applications. Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE and REST based Web services. Working knowledge at least one MVC framework Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles and MicroServices. Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles. Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge.
