Java Full Stack Senior Software Engineer for CB Data Platforms

OverviewA critical priority for Commercial Banks (CB) Data Management (DM) team is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients needs. CBs Data Management partners with CBs Chief Data Office (CDO) established to define CBs data strategy and support the consumption and use of data used across CB.Within the DM team, the CB Records Management Team partners with CB wide stakeholders from the business, business management, control management, compliance, legal, operations and technology teams. The team executes a series of workstreams that will deliver record management capabilities to ensure alignment to the firm s record management policy. This work is critical to managing risk related to records and meeting client, legal and regulatory expectations. Deliverables vary across the workstreams and often include current state assessment, strategy development including prioritization, project planning and execution, coordinating efforts across sub-businesses, data analysis and management reporting, authoring executive presentations and creating reusable tools.The Software Engineer in CB DM Records Management team will partner with key stakeholders across the CB business and technology organizations to execute strategies to ensure appropriate management of Records in structured and unstructured repositories. Additionally, the Records Management Software Engineer will collaborate with the broader CB CDO team, the firmwide Records Management Program (CRMP), and Global Data Risk Management (GDRM/Compliance) to deliver records management solutions in line with firm expectations and requirements.We are looking for Full Stack Engineer with skills and experience with Front end (REACT) and BackEnd (Java, SpringBoot, Hibernet) platforms who will be responsible for design, development and testing of Application Records Management application. This individual will work with an existing development team to create the new Application and maintain the existing platforms and provide production support. The candidate will be accountable for design, development, implementation and post-implementation maintenance and support. The candidate will develop and test new interfaces, enhancements/changes to existing interfaces and new reporting capabilities.Key Responsibilities:

• • Lead the development and execution of multi-year program deliverables related to Application Records Management
  • Identify reusable approaches to remediating records and defining ongoing sustainable processes
  • Develop subject matter expertise in records management (firmwide retention requirements, firmwide tools, CB record types)
  • Develop metrics, reporting and presentation materials that include key messages, control and operational effectiveness, and overall status
  • Maintain strong network with key stakeholders including CB Lines of Business, Technology, Firmwide Records Management Program and Compliance
  • Support the rollout and maturity of the records management governance processes across CB
  • Partner with stakeholders and Controls Management to ensure appropriate control environment and manage/advise on escalated issues

Basic Qualifications:

• • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with minimum 7-8 years Application development experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation
  • Minimum 4+ years experience using open-source Java-based frameworks and tools including Springboot, Apache, Spring , Hibernate, Core Java, J2EE, Design Patterns, programming and design techniques
  • Minimum 3+ years experience with SOAP Web Service and REST. Experience in spring framework, spring libraries and annotations is a strong plus
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with web development experience with focus on rich UI component development, REACT, CSS, JavaScript MVC based frameworks and HTML5
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with Core JAVA with focus on multithreading and data structures
  • Minimum 4+ years experience with MAVEN , JIRA , GIT and CI Tools
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with Messaging, XML and Integration patterns. Experience in Kafka is a strong plus
  • ORM, RDMS concepts with hands on experience on MariDB/MySql, or Oracle
  • Experience with development on Cloud platform private (Cloud CLI) & Public like AWS is plus
  • Experience with performance tuning, profiling complex Java application and knowledge of Java Memory Model
  • Experience with SSO, Entitlements, and Session Management and communication protocols
  • Experience with Test Driven Development Junit, Rest assured, Selenium, etc.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum based methodologies & Best practices

Desired Qualifications:

• • 5-7 years of experience in Data Governance, Project Management, or Business Management functions
  • Knowledge and experience in data management and governance functions preferred
  • Takes accountability for completing deliverables and enjoys owning tasks and jumping in to deliver
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a fine attention to detail.
